No. of records: | I've given up counting |
Started playing: | Orginally started to play UK Garage around 1998. Stopped for a bit and then really got into Hard Dance in 2002 and started learning how to DJ all over again |
All time top 3 tunes: | "Dreams" by Miss Shiva
"Unfinished Symphony" by Massive Attack
"Isn't Life Wonderful" by Alex D'Elia VS Ebop Allstars |

Sample set: | Come and listen to all my demos at my website |
Worst DJing moment: | Playing at nightclub for a DJ comp with a really rubbish soundsystem, just could not hear the incoming track. The motors of the 1200's felt like they were going as well |
Would most like to play: | A warm up for Paul Oakenfold. |
Most enjoyable set you've played: | Without a doubt it has to be a gig for Spiritualised. To have to place bouncing like that completely blew me away! |
When you're not DJing you're: | Writing interviews and doing reviews |
Favourite DJ: | Mark Sinclair, Steve Hill, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten |
Favourite Venue: | The Fridge. I love going to the summer festivals as well. |
Favourite Promotion: | Not much can beat Escape From Samsara's week in week out brilliance. |
Favourite Producer: | Paul Oakenfold. Doesn't always hit the spot but when he does it's magical. |
Favourite Label: | Tidy Two, Nukleuz Green, Anjunabeats. |
Biggest Influence: | The fact that there are so many DJs that put no effort into making their music sound any good made me want to go out and DJ myself. |
Drink: | Getting it on with cider these days. Single malt scotch when i'm mixing. |
Non-music pastime: | When I'm not at my decks (very rare) I love travel (Cliche ). |
Words of wisdom: | Practise, Practise, Practise. And don't just expect anything to land on your plate. |
Other Comments: | I believe a DJ is part of an important balance, playing great tracks and bouncing off a crowd bouncing off the music, a perfect harmony, a symbiosis, living, breathing, traveling together. |
