Our headlining guest this month is none other than RAW supremo Geezer AKA Guy McAffer. Known across clubland for his DJing skills and production techniques, Geezer has brought his acid techno sound to countless parties and has worked with labels such as Stay Up Forever, Cluster, Pounding Grooves and many more. Playing fresh, quality sounds and, in his own words, “Guaranteed top quality dancefloor techno". We’re all looking forward to hearing him play and you should be as well!
But we’ve got even more reason to celebrate. Not only is it Ped’s birthday but Clodagh’s sister, Maureen’s birthday as well. And if that’s not enough reason to party already, read on…
We’ve been very lucky over the past few months to hear Clodagh really experimenting with her sound, playing a fresh set of tracks every time. And when you realise that Carl Cox has been tracking her ever since she featured in the Joy Of Decks on ITV, you know you’re going to hear something very special indeed. But not resting on her laurels, she’s been appearing all over London and even Germany and Ireland. We’re very pleased to be welcoming her back again. Our next guest is one half of Deporpatas Live. Everybody who’s heard their studio based tracks and live remixing with 2 decks, 3 CDJs and 2 mixers have been blown away but this month sees Nacho mixing it up by himself. You never know what to expect from his sets other than good music!
From our guests to our residents team. Mikey, back from his world travels, will be warming you up for a special night indeed. Also returning to the main room and building you up as only he knows how, djSymbiosis will be taking you on and giving away a limited edition run of his brand new demo disc as a very special Xmas present for you so get in there early. Later on the birthday boy himself, Ped, will be taking us through with a special extended slot not to be missed. Finally Luke Smith will round off the night, with mixing tighter than a ducks arse..
Over in the Smells Like Funky Spirit Room our impressive list of guests will get you shaking your booty till the early hours. DJ Darz from the Thirsty DJs, Craig Gunn from Subsonica, Peter Ellison from Ultrafunk, Active Sensefrom Deporpatas Records and two very special Back to Backs, firstly The Saint back to back with Paulo from The Couch, then later on Chay and Labrat from the Hard As F**K Soundsystem will bosh out some breaks madness. Finally Shantai will be representing the residents this month, but with all the DJs you can expect funky, jacking music that will make you want to groove.
Coupled with the usual friendly atmosphere and as always a diverse range of music across the whole night and both rooms, this is the only place you want to kick off your Xmas celebrations.
