Summer might actually be here now, better late than never. Hopefully September will be a blaze of glorious sunshine and awash with lush Trance rhythms... OK, we can help with the last part as Zoology returns with one of it's most popular incarnations Zoology Trance.
We have four guest DJs, all making their Zoology debut, to help keep those feet moving and hands in the air as well.
DJs
Karl G is name I imagine a lot of Trance DJs know, but probably not on the DJing circuit. Based near Bristol this production maestro has been remixing indie classics by the likes of Keane, Coldplay and even the Artic Monkeys and giving them a Trancey twist, as well as this he has brought up to date some right old classics including Yeke Yeke and his house mix of Gnarls Barclay - Crazy got hammered on Kiss FM. As an original Producer and Remixer he has been noticed by DJs like Judge Jules and Adam White. As a DJ he has played all over the UK and is currently playing in Ibiza.
It is our pleasure to welcome him to Zoology for the first time.
Adam Symbiosis is resident at Harderfaster's Thirsty Thursday's and has played far too many places for me to try and name here. Anyway, he's pretty good this Adam fella. So we've booked him, to play Trance, tough Trance, towards the end of the night. It'll be great. Promise.
Lorenzo Barrero was resident at the long running Byte parties that recently ,and sadly, closed their doors for the last time. As well as that he has played all over, has an encyclopaedic knowledge for tunes and is a damn fin Trance DJ. He makes his debut as well.
Judy is overlooked. She should play out more and in protest of this not happening enough we booked her. Having played at Spangulation and Ascendance as well as a nice overseas gig in Helsinki. She comes to Zoology for the first time. Oh and she's not warming up either.
Looks a bit good doesn't it. Especially will all the residents playing as well. Except Matt Dahl, who'll be away.
See you there.
