Word to your mothers,
After a September month of Ibizan sunsets, UK fresh air, and lazing around at the weekend, we're getting ready to return to our spiritual home on October 14th. In case you hadn't heard yet, we're back at the newly decorated sub (Logic) on a Friday night (that's right, Friday night - enough of this daytime madness) from 18:30 until 02:00.
Come and check out the insane South Africans we've got playing for us this month! One is like, totally tall and looks like a DJing octopus, and the other one looks like a bearded James Bond with headphones. They lay down some seriously twisted beats as well, taking the best tech house and electro and moulding into something really quite new and special. If you haven't seen 2 PhUnKeD uP or been to their superb dancehall Comfortably Numb get yourself along for a set of beats that will probably put you in a mental institution.
Koochy is cool. Look at their crowd of impossibly gorgeous people loving that sexy house music. Their leader must be some sort of god. Oh look - he is! Welcome Alex Collings, former resident at Es Paradis and Slinky in Ibiza, and MTV in Tokyo. Alex is resident for the fast expanding Koochy empire and will be spinning the finest in cool house music for us at b1 before no doubt heading off to turn water into wine or whatever it is that deities do in their spare time.
Ilana Belski has been tickling our fancy of late. When we asked her to stop she just carried right on tickling us with her excellent prog and tech house. A regular at Addiction and Honeyriders:OurHouse she is the perfect DJ to start off the proceedings.
These three (ok, technically its four) guests will be supported by our ever dazzling residents; Tim Davison and OpaqueJake.
