... for those of you who attended last years xmas party, you know you'll be in store for an unforgettable night. To show our appreciation to all you fab clubbers, promoters & dj's how have been supported us throughout the last year... On FRIDAY 22ND DECEMBER we present to you... the RADI8 XMAS EXTRAVAGANZA 2006 @ Owens Cafe Bar, Norwich.
In the main bar you can expect experience nothing less than an euphoric journey from techno house & prog through to warm, melodic trance... Once again radi8 hero Dan Stone will be headlining the festivities. last April/May saw Dan’s first release on the mighty Anjunabeats, which has lead him to some very special gigs & production collaborations with some top names in the pipe line. Early next year can also expect the long awaited release of Dan’s remix of Mannix vs Kaymak - 'World Gone Mad' which will be released on one of the biggest & most popular trance labels around 'A State Of Trance' which is part of Armin Van Buuren's Armada music group.
In support of Mr Stone, Radi8's duo 'Jumby & Scotty.A' will be providing a very special 2hr United Colours of Radi8 set. A set of proggy, melodic, uplifting sounds will be delivered in a true radi8 fashion, taking you too a higher spiritual level.
The line up also sees Cubed's 'Neil Holmes', who has been a very worthy addition to the radi8 residency over the last few months. He's played some truly amazing sets of electronic, building, prog and comes very highly recommended by radi8. On the 22nd Neil will show is vital role in the journey that is Radi8. Another Xmas gift from radi8 will be a special techno-house warm-up set from Von House's 'Louis Guererro'.
Room 2 will push the more experimental side of radi8, concentrating on electro, breaks & minimal techno. You shall see the like's of 'Burt' providing his very unique sounds which he is loved for, in support you shall see 'Synthetic Tripster' a rising star in the local breaks scene, more names will be confirmed for this room...
As always Radi8 remains an admission free event, so make the most of this great xmas event... every thing kicks off @ 7pm... finishing @ 2am
