this time round at requiem we have a couple of exclusives for you, a load of london’s finest djs, a couple of brummie imports making waves in the scene and 12 hours of non-stop upfront hard house action. it’s time for the requiem summer special!
first up it’s the launch party for the new record label caterpillar trax set up by dave curtis, and twist’s paul batten and brow. we will all be showcasing some new releases on the label as well as our recent productions and remixes for other top labels in the country.
hannah wild is also making a comeback after a break from the scene, this will be her first hard house gig for far too long and hopefully not her last! expect her trademark chunky sounds and top notch mixing throughout. she will be ably backed by twist supremo tom basquil doing what he does best time in time out for the legendary party.
414 regulars aaron james (just groove) and april (puzzle project) will be gracing the decks to show what they’re all about - aaron is resident at the respected glow ball with a huge following and kiwi april’s productions are really showing her to be a star of the future across the genres.
birmingham’s rising stars kirstly lee james and craig lee will be making the trip down to show why they have rinsed clubs across the country in the last year. craig is now a regular on toolbox and kirsty has dipped her toe in the studio with great results, expect some great new music from these two fantastic djs
and playing the opening couple of hours will be lilvik who has been djing for longer than most, with free reign to play whatever the hell she wants from uplifting banging trance to trade vibes to take that if she wishes!
