On the 22nd of November 2008, MMD Records alongside Beartrap Productions will fuse forces for the first time to present DEMANUFACTURE ‘08, and with the help of some fellow co-conspirators, will showcase an army’s-worth of cutting edge manipulators, including a massive 12 local live acts and 8 DJ sets, as well as 2 International live acts, making this a gathering not to be missed!!
Combining the raw, unbridled psych-o-delic intensity of MMD with the mechanized mind assaults of Beartrap, DEMANUFACTURE promises to deliver a new, fresh idea on psychedelic trance collaborations, that will explore all facets of the mechanical mind, from the dark and demented, to the dazed, colorful and euphoric…

Nicolas Oesch, aka Mekkanikka or as he likes to be known, Nikka, started the project of Biodegradable with CPU (Samy Guediche) and Max from Sirus Isness in 1999.
Since then he has released 3 albums:
Basic Tribal Pattern on Spirit Zone Records 2003 Intoxicated on Planet B.E.N. Records 2006 and his most recent, released in July 2007 - Global Warning, which he released on Nutek Records.
He has featured on over 50 V/A compilations, incl releases by labels like:
Neurobiotic
Agitato
Spliff Music
Phantasm
Nutek
and 3D Vision
In August Nikka will be performing in Rio at the Nutek label party and September in Italy before coming to Cape Town in November where he will be performing what he calls 'his full live set' including live guitar.

Originally from Cape Town and now residing in Japan, Deon Baard, aka Damage, is no stranger to the South African dance floors.
Damage has over the past 6 years been exposing his signature "high-octane" distorted sound, taking no prisoners and pumping dance floors coast to coast.
His debut solo album, entitled "God Help Us" was released on Chemical Crew in 2005, and we are proud to announce that after 3 years, MMD will be releasing the 2nd solo album of this demonic monster, entitled "Bad Creationz" this festive season.......you have been warned!
