Solarstone & Super-Frog Saves Tokyo

» Rust (Luke Terry Remix)

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 10-07-24 12:25

Label: Pure Trance Recordings
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

The latest to drop from Pure Trance Volume 10 is the Luke Terry remix of Rust by Pure Trance boss Solarstone and Super-Frog Saves Tokyo. The last major collab between the two was Existence, which was remixed by Namibia's Pierre Pienaar. That track was on repeat by yours truly. It still is.

Luke Terry's remix of Rust is Balearic; not unlike Luke's own Unconditional also on Pure Trance. If you don't know Luke Terry, I'd recommend his productions and remixes on the now-defunct Unearthed Records and SPX Digital. Did he produce on SPX? I think he did. Anyway...this is one for the books.

Is this another Pure Trance gem? Yes. One of the jewels of PT10 and finally unleashed in its full length glory. Will more tracks from PT10 make an appearance? Who knows. For now, bask in the warmth of Rust.
